Keys Meadow Primary School is committed to providing a challenging, demanding, creative curriculum that responds to the whole child’s physical, social and emotional as well as intellectual needs. We believe that a strong school ethos (a nurturing climate for learning where excellence is expected from all), an insistent “can do” approach, a belief that ‘talent is grown, not born’, raising self-esteem and positive behaviour management are the keys to achievement. Out of Doors’ learning features in our priorities and includes any learning undertaken beyond the classroom – in other areas of the school, the school grounds, the neighbourhood and local area, at home, in London and further afield. The school annually undertakes really successful residential journeys.
Our own ‘I Can’ Programme is designed to help our children to live like champions and heroes, and to develop the essential characteristics of successful people.
We seek to ensure that the curriculum on offer does not in any way discriminate against pupils on the grounds of ability, race, background, learning style or gender.
